Our Story
Put simply, we were fed up with drinking mainstream soda while on a camping trip. Hot and bothered and seriously thirsty, we thought 'bugger it' lets make something better and a little different. We started the recipe trials for our soda that could be that everyday quencher, something a bit better for you but full of flavour and without all the marketing fluff.
The more we researched the market, all we found were sugar loaded soft drinks with the same old flavour offering, bubbly water with a dash of no flavour. Or better yet, some fancy functional drink that makes you astronaut ready and invincible?! There’s something for everyone, but that’s not us.
So, we made SO SODA.

We think it’s a bridge too far to go from all sugar to zero sugar, and we’ll sit out the debate about sweeteners, thanks. So Soda is that middle ground, halfway point. We aren’t trying to solve your health problems, we aren’t professing So Soda will make you smarter, happier, higher or sexier (though were happy to be proven wrong on the latter).
The soft drink space has been the same for so long. Same old flavours, same old plain packaging, same old faces. So we wanted to shake it up a bit. Bring some personality to the space, mix up some unique flavours, splash some new packaging out there, and have a bit of fun.
Our low cal sodas are uniquely designed with half the amount of sugar than a regular soft drink has, no preservatives or sweeteners, gluten free and vegan friendly. And with more diverse flavour profiles to suit adults. Like Ginger, Fig, Cinnamon & Cardamom.
So Soda can be drunk morning noon and night. That can be a perfect mixer too ;) That leaves you feeling refreshed. Something so tasty that you want more of but doesn’t come with the guilt.

What the hell is so soda?

Where is it made?
Right here in Australia, where else! We make it with hand pressed aluminium, filled with flavours only extracted by a microstraw under a full moon, and we even blow our own bubbles into the water! Nah, just kidding, we make it right here on our own doorstep using a mixer and some fancy manufacturing gear. (And what the hells a microstraw, anyway?)
Can anyone drink it?
It’s alcohol free so, yep, anyone can drink em. Though maybe not small babies, cats or dogs. The bubbles won’t go down too well. And if you mix em with booze, well then we’ll leave you to figure it out….
How should I drink it?
You do you baby, icy cold straight out of the can, pour it into your favourite glass with ice and garnish and find it has some colour to it!
Low calories?
Who even knows what a calorie looks like? What does that even mean? But yes, all our flavours sit around the 60-65 cal mark… which is pretty darn good we reckon. And if that doesn’t mean much to you, it’s basically half of what you’ll find in most traditional soft drinks.
